Regional Security Manager - Gauteng

Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an opportunity available for a Regional Security Manager who will lead security operations across a region, ensuring effective implementation and deployment of security controls, management of security personnel, and reduction of shrink and operational risk.

Minimum Requirements…

Essential:

• Diploma or certification in Security or Risk Management or 5-7 years’ experience in retail security or loss prevention.
• Leadership experience advantages

Responsibilities

Strategy and Value delivery

• Implement regional security strategies and loss prevention initiatives.
• Manage deployment and effectiveness of security guards and controllers.
• Monitor store-level shrink, theft, and security risks.
• Ensure effective use of security systems and tools.

Leadership and collaboration

• Manage and support store-level security personnel and external service providers.
• Partner with store managers, regional and divisional teams on security matters.
• Collaborate with Head of Security on risk mitigation strategies.
• Support and manage investigations and incident resolution.

Governance and risk

• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Monitor and report on security incidents and risks.
• Conduct audits and inspections of store security standards.
• Escalate high-risk issues and incidents.

• Commercial and Stock Performance – Regional Shrink and loss

• People& Culture – Culture Formula
