We are seeking a qualified, goal-driven and self-motivated Dialysis Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team.

Purpose of the Role The Dialysis Practitioner delivers safe, evidence-based and person-centred dialysis care, placing the patient's goals, preferences and outcomes at the centre of clinical decision-making. Working collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team, the practitioner promotes effective care coordination, shared decision-making and patient self-management to improve clinical outcomes, patient safety and the overall patient experience.

POSITION INFO: Minimum Requirements Qualifications Degree in Nursing or BTech in Clinical Technology. Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Registered Nurse\/Midwife or Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Clinical Technologist (Independent Practice). Experience 1-2 years' dialysis experience in a haemodialysis and\/or peritoneal dialysis unit. Experience operating dialysis equipment and water treatment systems. Experience in the management of patients with chronic kidney disease. Experience in patient education and counselling. Knowledge and application of quality improvement and risk management principles. Knowledge Working knowledge of relevant healthcare legislation and professional standards, including: National Health Act Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) Occupational Health and Safety legislation SANC\/HPCSA ethical rules and scope of practice What We Offer Opportunity to work within a patient-centred, multidisciplinary environment.
