Registered Nurse

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care:
• Assess patient health conditions, including medical history, symptoms, and physical condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform diagnostic tests and analyze results.
• Develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs and progress, and report changes to physicians.
• Operate and monitor medical equipment.
• Assist with or perform medical procedures.
• Provide wound care and dressing changes.
• Respond to medical emergencies.
• Education and Support:
• Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families.
• Teach patients how to manage chronic conditions and prevent future health issues.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Document patient care, observations, and interventions accurately and thoroughly.
• Advocacy:
• Advocate for patients' needs and rights within the healthcare system.
• Professional Development:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in nursing practice, medical technology, and healthcare policies.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
