POSITION INFO: A leading private healthcare facility in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - ICU Trained to join its Critical Care team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nursing professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment. Minimum Requirements Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Registered Nurse. Post Basic Diploma in Critical Care Nursing Science (ICU) will be advantageous but not required. Previous ICU experience in a private hospital environment. Sound clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients. Monitor, assess and manage patients in the Intensive Care Unit. Administer prescribed medication and treatment. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with SANC regulations, infection prevention protocols and hospital policies. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
