Registered Nurse

The purpose of the position is to provide comprehensive nursing care within the scope of practice prescribed by the South African Nursing Council (SANC), while adhering to all hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care in accordance with outcome-based principles.

CRITICAL OUTPUTS

• Work within scope of practice, maintaining competency and engaging concerns for safe practices.
• Implement outcome-based nursing per policies and legislation.
• Coordinate therapeutic and multi-disciplinary activities for patient outcomes.
• Ensure accurate medication administration with zero errors.
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Facilitate smooth patient flow and address customer complaints.
• Build productive relationships with stakeholders and ensure protocol adherence.
• Comply with financial policies, accurate charging, and stock management.
• Embrace company values and take charge of the unit when indicated.
• Dispose of waste per OHS regulations and report equipment failures.
• Identify learning needs and commit to lifelong professional development.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum: NQF 6 Nursing qualification.
• 2 - 3 years experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Registration with SANC as a Registered Nurse.
• High proficiency in practical problem solving, communication, teamwork, customer orientation, pressure handling, attention to detail.
• Computer Literacy.

Pay: R28 200,00 - R38 000,00 per month
