Job Title: Nursing Subject Matter Expert – NCLEX Test Bank Review
About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Nursing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to review AI-generated NCLEX-style test bank questions across multiple nursing disciplines. The SMEs will be responsible for ensuring the clinical accuracy, educational quality, and alignment of assessment content with NCLEX standards and nursing competencies.
Key Responsibilities:
● Review AI-generated NCLEX-style test bank questions, answer options, and rationales.
● Validate clinical accuracy and appropriateness of assessment content.
● Identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, ambiguities, or gaps in questions and explanations.
● Ensure alignment with NCLEX standards, nursing best practices, and competency-based learning objectives.
● Review competency mappings and provide recommendations where necessary.
● Provide detailed review comments and suggested revisions.
● Participate in subsequent review rounds, if required.
● Adhere to project timelines and quality expectations.
Subject Matter Areas:
Candidates should have expertise in one or more of the following disciplines:
● Fundamentals of Nursing
● Medical-Surgical Nursing
● Pharmacology
● Maternal-Newborn Nursing
● Pediatrics
● Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing
Required Qualifications:
● Active, unrestricted U.S. RN license
● BSN required; MSN or DNP preferred
● Current or recent clinical nursing experience.
● Strong familiarity with NCLEX test plans and standards.
● Experience teaching nursing courses at the college/university level or developing nursing education content.
● Excellent written communication and analytical skills.
● Ability to review and provide detailed feedback on educational assessments.
Preferred Qualifications:
● MSN or DNP
● Experience developing, writing, or reviewing NCLEX preparation materials.
● Experience creating or reviewing nursing test bank questions and assessments.
● Prior experience working with educational publishers, curriculum developers, or EdTech organizations.
● Familiarity with competency-based education frameworks and standards mapping.
