What You Will Do

• Provide safe, compassionate antenatal and postnatal nursing care
• Assist and support mothers throughout labour and delivery
• Monitor the wellbeing of both mother and baby
• Deliver high-quality newborn care and educate families on postnatal health
• Work collaboratively with obstetricians, paediatricians, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Ensure patient safety while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing with Midwifery qualification
• Current registration with SANC as a Registered Nurse/Midwife
• Sufficient Medical Malpractice Insurance cover
• Minimum of 2 years' recent midwifery experience in a hospital maternity unit
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
