Job description
Registered Nurse for Retirement Village and Clinic.
Minimum 2 yrs previous experience in retirement village with Assisted Living, Full care or frail care environments, clinic duties, doctor's rounds.
Computer literacy, including excel.
Maintain accurate nursing records and clinical documentation
Strong clinical assessment and patient-care skills.
Knowledge of medication and nursing procedures, including wound care
Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations.
Ability to plan and manage duty roster, staffing, monthly statistics.
Interviewing potential new clients (new contracts) for Home Based Care and assigning staff to cover care requirements.
Education:
- Diploma (Preferred)
Experience:
- Geriatrics: 3 years (Required)
Language:
- Afrikaans (Required)
License/Certification:
- SANC Registration (Required)
