WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

As a Professional Nurse, you’ll play a vital leadership role in ensuring quality care for our frail residents, including:

✨ Assessing residents and developing individual nursing care plans
✨ Managing and evaluating ongoing care and residents’ health status
✨ Daily hands-on involvement in all aspects of resident care
✨ Administering medication and treatments as prescribed
✨ Monitoring nutrition, fluid balance, mobility, and overall wellbeing
✨ Maintaining accurate clinical records and incident reports
✨ Communicating with families, doctors, and the multidisciplinary team
✨ Acting as an advocate for residents and providing emotional support
✨ Supporting infection control, safety, dignity, and confidentiality
✨ Providing guidance, in-service training, and leadership to staff
✨ Ensuring a clean, safe, and caring environment
✨ Assisting with end-of-life care with compassion and dignity

✅ REQUIREMENTS:

✔ Registered Nurse / Professional Nurse qualification
✔ Registered with SANC (South African Nursing Council)
✔ Geriatric experience (essential or highly advantageous)
✔ Strong clinical knowledge and sound judgement
✔ Excellent communication and leadership skills
✔ A caring, patient, and professional attitude
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Willingness to work shifts
