ADVERT FOR VACANCY: Rehabilitation Manager
Mitchell's Plain Transitional Care Facility - Managed by Aquarius Health Care NPC is situated on the premises of Lentegeur Hospital, Mitchell's Plain and is a 148 bed in-patient facility accommodating patients for rehabilitation, palliative, wound, and convalescent care and other.
AHC NPC is inviting you to apply for the following vacant post which will be on a full time Fixed term Contract until March 2027, and only renewable depending on the performance of the NPC and continued funding from the Department of Health.
Requirements:
- Applicant should be registered with HPCSA and submit proof.
- Have a relevant 4-year degree as an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist and Managerial experience and relevant Clinical experience.
- Must have 5+ years’ experience in the Clinical setting (including Inpatient services) and Human resource management.

- Direct patient care (40%)
- Clinical oversight and management of the rehabilitation programme
- Strategy & Planning
- Ensure implementation
- Monitor & evaluate programme
- Clinical governance
- Quality management
- Adhoc duties
Human Resource Management of all Rehabilitation and Allied Health Staff
- Recruitment & selection
- Performance management
- Labour relations
- Training & capacity building
- Management of related student training placements
