Relationship Manager - Business Developer
We are seeking a commercially driven and relationship-focused Relationship Manager to join our growing organisation. As a multi-service provider, we offer clients access to a wide range of professional and business services. The purpose of this role is to strengthen and grow relationships with our existing Key Account clients, identify additional business opportunities within those client relationships and introduce clients to relevant services across the Group. The Relationship Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our Key Account clients are not only receiving excellent service but are also aware of and actively making use of the broader range of services available within the organisation.
The ideal candidate will be a confident relationship builder with strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills and a proven ability to identify and convert business opportunities.
Responsibilities;
The Relationship Manager will be expected to contribute towards measurable growth through:
Key Account Development
Regular engagement with allocated Key Account clients.
Development of strong account growth plans.
Identification of additional service opportunities.
Increased utilisation of Group services.
Cross-Selling
Qualified opportunities generated from existing clients.
Introductions to relevant internal service divisions.
Conversion of cross-selling opportunities into revenue.
Increased revenue per Key Account client.
New Business Development
Referrals generated from existing clients.
New prospects identified through Key Account networks.
Client introductions secured.
New business opportunities developed and converted.
Relationship Management
Regular client contact and meetings.
High-quality client engagement.
Improved client retention.
Strong internal coordination.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in:
Key Account Management
Relationship Management
Business Development
Sales
Client Relationship Management
B2B Sales
Proven experience growing existing client accounts.
Proven experience identifying and converting cross-selling or upselling opportunities.
Experience in generating new business.
Experience managing and developing professional client relationships.
Experience working towards sales or revenue targets.
Previous experience selling professional, financial or business services will be highly advantageous.
Location: Pretoria North
Salary: R20,000 – R35,000 CTC per month, depending on experience
Incentive: Performance-based incentive structure
Travel: Company vehicle provided for approved client-related travel
