About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Accountant to join our growing team. This remote position is ideal for a candidate based in Africa who can independently manage accounting operations across South Africa, Namibia, and Mozambique.
The successful candidate will oversee the full accounting cycle, prepare financial reports, manage accounts payable and receivable, support payroll administration, ensure compliance with IFRS, and assist with taxation requirements across multiple countries. This role requires someone who is analytical, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations across South Africa, Namibia, and Mozambique.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
- Maintain accurate accounting records in compliance with IFRS.
- Perform account reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
- Prepare management reports and provide regular cash flow updates.
- Prepare accounting date for audit.
- Perform full accounting jobs for 3 office.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Banking & Cash Management
- Payroll Administration
- Project Costing
- Tax & Compliance
- Support VAT, withholding tax, payroll tax, and corporate tax compliance.
- Maintain records for statutory reporting and audits.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and IFRS.
- Liaise with external accountants and auditors when required.

- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors.
- Support procurement activities.
- Maintain organized financial records.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to support after-sales operations.
- Perform additional finance and administrative duties as assigned**.**
- QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of accounting experience.
- Experience managing the full accounting cycle.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.Taxation Knowledge (Required)
Working knowledge of taxation and statutory compliance requirements in:
- South Africa
- Namibia
- Mozambique
Experience with VAT, payroll taxes, withholding tax, corporate tax, and statutory reporting is highly desirable.
