Are you looking for a rewarding remote role where you can provide exceptional customer service without any sales targets?
Messagemail is a professional telephone answering service with over 25 years of experience supporting businesses across the UK and internationally. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding customer service through professionalism, empathy, and excellent communication.
We are expanding our remote team in South Africa and are looking for confident, reliable, and customer-focused people to handle inbound telephone calls on behalf of a variety of businesses, including legal and accounting practices.
About the Role
As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will become the first point of contact for our clients' customers. Your role is to answer inbound calls professionally, accurately capture caller information, and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
There are no sales targets or commission-based earnings. This position is designed to be able to compliment your existing responsibilities, with shift patterns being flexible to some extent.
Your Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls on behalf of multiple UK/Int’l businesses.
- Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
- Record clear, accurate, and grammatically correct messages.
- Maintain excellent attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Handle approximately 150 calls per full working day (pro rata).
- Represent our clients with professionalism and empathy.
We're looking for people with the right attitude more than extensive experience.
You will ideally have:
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- A warm, professional telephone manner.
- Outstanding listening and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Confidence using computers and web-based systems.
- The ability to work independently from home.
- Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
- Previous customer service or call centre experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training is provided.
Home Office Requirements
To be considered you must have:
- A Windows PC or laptop.
- A reliable (ideally wired) internet connection.
- Fast, stable broadband.
- A good quality headset.
- A quiet, professional workspace free from distractions.
Pay: R75,00 per hour
