Job description
Scaled Inc is a premier staff augmentation firm connecting USA-based MSPs with top South African IT talent. As we grow, we’re seeking Microsoft 365 Technical Support Engineer skilled in Microsoft 365, Cloud Infrastructure, Desktop Support, and Virtualization.
Responsibilities:
- Office 365 Migrations & Deployments (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams).
- Desktop Solutions & Intune Deployments
- Windows Server Administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS)
- IT Security & Infrastructure Protection
- IT Project Collaboration & Documentation
Requirements
- 5+ years in IT support (Office 365, Azure, Desktop, and Server Administration).
- Expertise in Azure AD, Virtual Machines, and Storage.
- Experience supporting Windows & macOS.
- Strong troubleshooting and software installation skills.
Preferred Certifications:
MCSE, Azure, VMware, Cisco, Cybersecurity (SANS, GIAC, Fortinet, etc.)
Home Office Requirements
To work efficiently in a remote environment, candidates must have:
- Dedicated Home Office – A quiet, separate private room with a door
- High-Speed Internet – Fibre connection with at least 50 Mbps upload and download
- Computer Equipment – A laptop or desktop suited for IT support tasks
- Audio & Video Setup – A headset for clear communication and a webcam for video calls
- Backup Power – A reliable power source to maintain connectivity during outages
