We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Repair Shop Assistant to join our workshop team at Rola Toyota Bredasdorp. The successful candidate will assist with vehicle inspections, maintenance preparations, repairs, and workshop administration while ensuring all work is completed according to manufacturer standards and company procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Matric certificate (Grade 12) – essential.
• 2-3Years experience in an Automotive Dealership, Service Workshop or Fleet Maintenance environment (Essential)
• Valid Driver's Licence and valid PDP.
• Experience handling customer vehicles and supporting workshop operations.
• Knowledge of vehicle servicing and maintenance processes.
• Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify defects, wear and maintenance requirements.
• Prepare vehicles, workshop bays, tools, equipment and parts for servicing and repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, component replacements, fluid top-ups and basic calibrations according to manufacturer standards.
• Assist technicians with repair, assembly and maintenance activities while ensuring accurate completion of job cards and workshop documentation.
• Manage parts requests and returns in line with workshop procedures. Install vehicle accessories and maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
• Ensure vehicles are correctly moved, handled and handed over throughout the repair process.
