Work Description
The main purpose of the position is to assist the Project Manager in the recruitment of participants and to provide a supportive role in research study-related tasks. The role participates in the design and administration of the data collection tools. Responsible for the efficient collection of accurate, complete and ethical data from study volunteers. Adherence to protocol and overall study objectives.

Education
- Bachelors degree
- Valid GCP certificate
Advantageous
- Honours Degree
- HIV/TB training
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role
- Public Sector experience in HIV counselling and testing, prevention, care and treatment
- Experience in HIV/TB prevention and treatment
- Experience in community education
- Research methodologies including both qualitative and quantitative methods
Advantageous
- Research and GCP an advantage
- Knowledge of participant recruitment and retention strategies
Requirements
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Computer and programming skills
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
