Restaurant Manager – Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
• Lead, motivate and manage the restaurant team.
• Ensure excellent customer service and a positive guest experience.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and service.
• Manage staff schedules, shifts and daily staffing requirements.
• Oversee stock control, ordering and inventory management.
• Monitor costs, sales and overall restaurant performance.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, health and safety standards.
• Handle guest queries, complaints and feedback professionally.
• Work closely with the kitchen, management and other departments.
• Ensure restaurant policies and procedures are consistently followed.
• Assist with the planning and execution of functions, groups and special events.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming and high-quality restaurant environment.

Requirements

• 3–5 years’ relevant restaurant or hospitality industry experience.
• Previous management experience in a restaurant or similar environment.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure and resolve problems effectively.
• Good knowledge of restaurant operations, stock control and cost management.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Pay: From R10 000,00 per month
