Are you a confident, people‑focused leader ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for a driven Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) in delivering great results through strong leadership, operational excellence, and outstanding customer service.

You’ll play a key role in driving sales and profitability through strong team leadership, KFC values, and consistent execution of systems and standards.

Key Responsibilities

People (30%)

• Build a positive, high‑performance team culture aligned with KFC principles
• Ensure the restaurant is fully and effectively staffed
• Support training, development, and performance management of all team members
• Assist with team meetings, employee relations, and attendance management
• Maintain accurate employee files and training records
• Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Food Hygiene, and Security procedures

Customer (30%)

• Create a welcoming, customer‑focused environment for all guests
• Support ROCC evaluations and action plans to drive continuous improvement
• Ensure product quality and service standards are met on every shift
• Handle customer complaints professionally, escalating where required
• Follow up on Health Department audit actions and service improvement plans

Sales (20%)

• Drive strong sales performance through excellent operations and customer service
• Promote a strong sales culture and motivate the team to exceed targets
• Ensure team knowledge of products, promotions, and POS systems
• Support forecasting, stock ordering, and product availability

Profit (20%)

• Assist in controlling labour, food, and operating costs
• Support profitability strategies set by the RGM
• Review daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
• Encourage cost‑saving initiatives across the team

What We’re Looking For

• Matric (non‑negotiable)
• 3–5 years’ experience managing a restaurant or similar environment
• Strong people leadership and customer‑centric mindset
• Excellent communication, planning, and time‑management skills

Education:

• High School (matric) (Required)

Experience:

• Restaurant Manager: 3 years (Required)

Work Location: In person
