Restaurant Supervisor (Sandton)

Career Growth Hospitality Recruitment is looking for an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join a busy 4-star hotel in Sandton. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional who enjoys leading a team, maintaining high service standards, and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day restaurant operation to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Lead, motivate, and support the restaurant team during service
• Ensure exceptional guest service and promptly resolve guest queries or concerns
• Assist with staff training, coaching, and performance management
• Monitor food and beverage presentation and service standards
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management
• Ensure all opening and closing procedures are completed correctly
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety
• Work closely with the Restaurant Manager, Executive Chef, and other hotel departments
• Ensure company policies and operational procedures are consistently followed

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or Senior Waiter within a hotel or busy restaurant environment
• Experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel will be advantageous
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills
• Excellent food and beverage knowledge
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills
• Well organised with the ability to work under pressure
• Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
