Job description
We are looking for an experienced and hands on Restaurant Manager to join our team.
The role involves overseeing the daily running of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service, maintaining stock control and supporting the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day to day running of the restaurant
- Be hands on and actively involved on the floor during service
- Manage stock levels, stock control and regular stock takes
- Handle stock ordering and liaise with suppliers
- Monitor wastage and control restaurant costs
- Supervise and support restaurant staff
- Assist with the planning and running of functions and events
- Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness and presentation
- Deal with guests and ensure a positive dining experience
What We're Looking For
- Previous restaurant management experience
- Good knowledge of stock control and ordering
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A hands on approach to restaurant management
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Reliable, professional and able to work well under pressure
- Someone who takes pride in the overall running of a restaurant
