Job Description
We're looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable Retail Assistant (Beauty Advisor) to join our team. The successful candidate must be passionate about skincare and cosmetics, committed to delivering exceptional customer service, and confident in recommending products tailored to customers' individual skincare concerns and beauty goals.
You should have a strong understanding of skincare ingredients, skin types, skincare routines, and cosmetic products, and enjoy educating customers while creating an outstanding shopping experience.
Requirements
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for skincare, cosmetics, and the beauty industry
- Strong knowledge of skincare ingredients (e.g. retinol, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, AHAs/BHAs, ceramides, SPF)
- Understanding of different skin types, skin concerns, and skincare routines
- Knowledge of makeup products, colour matching, and cosmetic application
- Confident in conducting skincare consultations and making personalised product recommendations
- Sales-driven with the ability to achieve individual and store targets
- Fluent in English
- Vibrant, professional personality
- A team player
- Willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays

- Cosmetology, or a related beauty qualification (Advantageous)
Experience
- Beauty retail experience: Minimum 3 years (Required)
- Skincare and cosmetics sales experience: Minimum 2 years (Required)
- Experience recommending skincare routines (Preferred)
- Retail sales experience: 5 years (Preferred)
