POSITION INFO: Ilinga Direct Marketing is seeking enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistants to support daily store operations, welcome customers, and help create an enjoyable in‑store experience. This role is ideal for individuals starting their careers in retail and looking to develop strong customer service and sales skills. KEY RESPOSIBILITIES Welcome and assist customers with product information and store navigation Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing sales floor Replenish stock and ensure product displays are tidy and accurate Process sales transactions accurately using the store's point‑of‑sale system Handle customer queries and escalate concerns when needed Support promotional activities and contribute to achieving store sales goals Work collaboratively with team members to provide consistent service REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Completed high school education or equivalent Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and holidays Comfortable with standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as restocking Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent customer service NICE TO HAVE Previous experience in customer service or retail Interest in sales and brand representation GROWTH DEVELOPMENT Skill development in sales, merchandising, and customer engagement Opportunities for advancement into supervisory or specialist retail positions Training and support to help build a long‑term career in the retail and marketing industry
