Retail Sales Assistant (Hillcrest)

Construction Hyper is an INGCO Concept Store. We sell INGCO power tools and hand tools to homeowners, contractors and tradesmen, in store and online. Our second store opens in Hillcrest (Oxford Village, Old Main Road) in November 2026, and we are hiring a Sales Assistant to join the opening team.

Every position here runs on a written system: clear results, clear standards and daily checklists. If you like knowing exactly what is expected and doing it properly every day, you will fit in.

What you will do

• Greet every customer and help them find the right tool, with correct facts. If you don't know an answer, you find out. You never guess.

• Show customers related products and explain the warranty, without pressure.

• Prepare quotes for customers and follow them up.

• Keep the shelves full and neat, and report low stock to the Store Manager.

• Help with receiving stock and repairs when needed.

• Complete your daily checklists.

What we are looking for

• Matric (Grade 12).

• Retail or customer service experience is an advantage. Tool or hardware knowledge is a bonus, not a requirement: we train you on the range.

• Friendly, confident and honest, with a strong work ethic.

• Reliable: on time every day, Saturdays included.

• Living in or near Hillcrest, or with reliable transport.

• Comfortable using a computer, email and WhatsApp.

Hours

Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30, and Saturday 08:00 to 14:00.
