Retail Sales

ACDC Express is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, maintaining merchandising standards, processing transactions accurately, and ensuring an outstanding in-store shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall store performance.
• Promote store specials, promotions, and new products.
• Upsell and cross-sell products where appropriate.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, returns, and exchanges.
• Maintain merchandising standards and replenish stock on shelves.
• Assist with stock receiving and stock counts.
• Process cash, card, and account payments accurately.
• Perform daily cash-ups when required. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
• 1–3 years' experience in retail sales or customer service.
• Experience in the electrical, hardware, or retail industry will be advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a passion for sales.
• Computer literacy and experience using POS systems will be advantageous.
• Good numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear criminal and credit record.

Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent. Registered with Security Enterprises and regulations Board .
