STORE SUPERVISOR – CAPE TOWN

5th Ave Fashion Store | Long Street, Cape Town

Are you passionate about fashion, sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience?

5th Ave Fashion Store is looking for an energetic, experienced and results-driven Store Supervisor to join our team in Long Street, Cape Town.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who can support the Store Manager, motivate the sales team, drive sales and ensure that our customers receive an outstanding shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with driving daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
Lead and motivate the sales team on the shop floor.
Provide excellent customer service and assist with customer queries.
Actively participate in selling and styling customers.
Coach and support team members to improve their sales performance.
Monitor staff attendance, productivity and performance.
Maintain high standards of store presentation and visual merchandising.
Ensure merchandise is displayed attractively and replenished regularly.
Assist with stock control, deliveries, replenishment and loss prevention.
Ensure the sales floor and stockroom remain organised and professional.
Support the Store Manager with the day-to-day operations of the store.

Minimum Requirements

3+ years' experience in fashion retail, preferably in a supervisory, senior sales or management role.
Proven experience working towards and achieving sales targets.
Strong customer service and selling skills.
Fashion, styling and product knowledge.
Experience leading, coaching or motivating a sales team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Energetic, professional and well-presented.
Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
Hands-on approach with the ability to lead from the shop floor.

Advantageous: Experience with established fashion retailers such as TFG, H&M, Mr Price, Woolworths, Truworths or similar high-volume fashion retail environments.
