RN – Clinical Facilitator – Pretoria

Qualification & Requirements;

• Degree / Diploma in Nursing
• Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing Education would be an advantage
• Current registration with SANC and registered Assessor with SANC
• 2 years or more of experience as a Clinical Facilitator in a hospital environment
• Facilitation and assessment skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent computer skills

Key Areas

• Actively facilitate learning opportunities that are relevant to student and clinical unit learning objectives
• Provide ongoing clinical support and practice development focusing on competencies, service improvement, communication, improved co-ordination and action learning
• Promote a culture of education and learning among colleagues, taking account individual development needs
• Participate in education forums locally, regionally and nationally when needed
• Act as resource to other professionals to ensure ongoing development and appropriate education takes place to underpin best practice
• Develop and deliver appropriate education packages, based on training needs analysis
• Assist students to develop the knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary for practice within the clinical environment
• Providing regular feedback, both formative and summative to students and the unit coordinators about the students’ performance

Pay: R1,00 - R30 000,00 per month
