Job description
Urban Oasis is a 32-room aparthotel in the Cape Town CBD. We're looking for a Room Attendant to help keep every room clean, fresh and ready for guests. You'll be part of a team of 7 and report to our Housekeeping Supervisor.
What you'll do
Clean and reset rooms after guests leave, including beds, bathrooms, floors, surfaces and kitchen areas
Make beds with fresh linen and restock towels, toiletries and other guest items
Clean public areas like corridors and stairwells when needed
Check each room against our standard before it's marked ready for check-in
Tell the Supervisor about any damage, faults or missing items, so maintenance can fix them
Hand in any lost property and pass on guest requests
Keep your trolley stocked and tidy, and let the Supervisor know when supplies run low
Use cleaning products safely and correctly
What we're looking for
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience
A good eye for detail and pride in doing the job properly
Reliable and on time, every shift
Happy to work in a team and follow instructions
Comfortable being on your feet, bending and lifting throughout the day
Friendly and polite with guests and colleagues
Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends
Pay: From R5 900,00 per month
