About the Role

We are seeking passionate, disciplined, and knowledgeable rugby coaches to join our coaching team.

This is an opportunity to help shape the next generation of rugby players while working within a professional player development environment.

We're looking for coaches who can inspire, mentor, and develop players—not simply coach them.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality rugby training sessions.

Develop players' technical and tactical skills.

Coach position-specific skills.

Support strength and conditioning programmes.

Monitor player development and performance.

Mentor young athletes on discipline, teamwork, and leadership.

Assist during academy trials and talent identification events.

Maintain a safe and positive training environment.

Minimum Requirements

Rugby coaching experience.

Good understanding of modern rugby.

Excellent communication skills.

Strong leadership qualities.

Reliable transport.

Ability to work afternoons and evenings.

Passion for youth development.

Preferred Qualifications

World Rugby Coaching Certification.

SARU Coaching Accreditation.

Strength and Conditioning experience.

First Aid qualification.

Experience coaching school rugby.
