Safety Officer

Lumacon Air Conditioning (Pty) Ltd is seeking to appoint two (2) experienced safety officers to join our team.

Positions Available:

• 1 x Safety Officer – Medupi Power Station, Lephalale
• 1 x Safety Officer – Randburg Head Office

Minimum Requirements

• National Diploma in Safety Management or a related qualification.
• Valid SACPCMP registration as a Construction Health and Safety Officer (CHSO).
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience post SACPCMP registration.
• Sound knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation and regulations.
• Strong understanding of risk assessments, incident investigations, safety audits, and compliance requirements.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite).
• Valid driver's licence.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Facilitate toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness campaigns.
• Investigate incidents and compile reports.
• Monitor and maintain safety files and legal compliance documentation.
• Promote a positive safety culture on site.
• Liaise with management, employees, clients, and relevant authorities on safety matters.
