Purpose:
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead and execute marketing initiatives across the business with a focus on B2C marketing. The Marketing Specialist is accountable for campaign planning and execution, content strategy, performance reporting, stakeholder engagement, lead generation support, and community management.
This role is suited to an experienced marketing professional with a strong foundation across both digital and traditional marketing disciplines. The incumbent will operate as a senior individual contributor, providing direction and guidance to junior marketing team members while partnering closely with sales, business development, operational teams, and external suppliers to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth.
Responsibilities
Campaign Management and Marketing Execution
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across Facebook, TikTok, Youtube and any other B2C channel
- Manage campaign planning, timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
- Support the launch of new products, services, courses, and business initiatives.
- Drive lead generation, customer acquisition, customer retention, and brand awareness activities.
- Ensure marketing activities align with divisional objectives and overall business goals.
- Monitor campaign effectiveness and implement optimisation strategies where required.
Content Development and Digital Marketing
- Develop and manage content across digital and social media platforms
- Create and coordinate content including course promotions, thought leadership articles, case studies, customer testimonials, blogs, videos, graphics, and email campaigns.
- Develop B2B marketing collateral including whitepapers, brochures, presentations, proposals, and compliance-related content where needed
- Manage website content updates and ensure brand consistency across all digital channels.
- Support the creation and execution of high-volume consumer marketing content for B2C audiences.
- Ensure all content aligns with company brand standards and marketing objectives.
Community Management and Customer Engagement
- Provide guidance and support to the Community Management team member.
- Monitor and oversee online customer engagement across social and digital platforms.
- Ensure customer enquiries and sales-related queries are responded to effectively and escalated appropriately.
- Support the growth and engagement of online communities to enhance customer experience and brand loyalty.
- Monitor customer sentiment and identify opportunities for improved engagement.
Sales and Business Development Support
- Support Business Development and Sales teams with marketing collateral, proposal content, case studies, presentations, and campaign-generated leads.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support lead nurturing and sales conversion activities.
- Assist with customer acquisition strategies and demand generation initiatives.
- Provide marketing support for strategic business growth initiatives.
Event Management and Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate and support marketing activities for conferences, exhibitions, corporate events, and training initiatives.
- Manage event promotion, logistics coordination, and post-event reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, agencies, and service providers.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all business units.
Reporting and Performance Analysis
- Monitor and report on campaign performance across all divisions.
- Produce weekly, monthly, and ad hoc marketing performance reports.
- Track key marketing metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Utilise analytics and reporting tools to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Provide marketing insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
Agency and Supplier Management
- Manage external agencies, content creators, and marketing suppliers.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality marketing assets within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Maintain effective supplier relationships and service standards.
- Oversee content production processes and quality control.
Team Support and Leadership
- Provide day-to-day direction and guidance to graphic designers, interns, and other supporting team members.
- Support the development of junior marketing resources through coaching and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of marketing processes and best practices.
- Demonstrate leadership behaviours and readiness for future people management responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is essential.
- Alternatively, an IMM qualification in Marketing or a related discipline will be considered.
- Relevant professional marketing certifications will be advantageous.
Experience:
- Minimum 5–7 years' marketing experience across both B2B and B2C environments, B2B is optional. B2C is mandatory.
- Proven experience managing integrated marketing campaigns from strategy through execution and reporting.
- Strong experience supporting sales and business development functions through lead generation and demand creation initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple stakeholders, projects, brands, or business units simultaneously.
- Experience in performance marketing, customer acquisition, campaign optimisation, and marketing analytics.
- Experience working with external agencies, suppliers, and service providers.
- Experience supporting new product, service, or course launches.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a senior individual contributor with leadership potential and the ability to take on people management responsibilities in the short to medium term.

- Meta Business Suite.
- LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
- Power BI or similar reporting and visualisation tools.
- Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
- Email marketing platforms.
- Social media scheduling and content management platforms.
- Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Working knowledge of AI-enabled marketing and content creation tools will be advantageous.
