How you'll role
As a Post Article SAIPA Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing a diverse portfolio of clients. You will be tasked with ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and the South African Revenue Service (SARS) to provide excellent accounting services.
What you'll do
- Manage a portfolio of clients
- Compilation of annual financial statements
- Perform Independent reviews
- Submission of monthly VAT
- Calculate income tax for individuals, companies and trusts
- Calculate provisional taxes
- Liaise with SARS
- Submission of income tax returns for companies, individuals and trusts
What you'll need
- A recognized degree
- Completed SAIPA articles
- Computer literate: Outlook. Word, Excel, etc.
- Caseware experience
- Xero and Pastel experience
- Own car and driver's license
- Strong attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills in both Afrikaans and English
- South African citizenship
