SAIPA Trainee Accountant

About the Role

As a SAIPA Trainee Accountant, you will embark on a professional journey designed to support your development within the accounting field. This role focuses on providing foundational financial and accounting support while aligning with the South African Institute of Professional Accountants standards. You will gain hands-on experience working with various financial tasks that will help you build the skills necessary for a successful career in accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and recording financial transactions in accordance with relevant accounting standards
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and management accounts
• Assist with the completion of annual financial statements and audits
• Engage with clients to resolve financial queries and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Help in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
• Participate in budget preparation and forecasting processes
• Support the implementation of internal controls and accounting policies
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to projects aimed at improving efficiencies in financial processes

Requirements

• BCom Accounting Degree
• Reliable or own transport
• Must be able to work on-site in our Sandton office
