Sales Administrator required in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town.
Are you an organised and driven Sales Administrator ready to support a high-performing sales team?
A leading supplier of Tools and Automotive Equipment industry, based in Paarden Eiland, is looking for a meticulous professional to manage administrative tasks , prepare quotes and sales orders, process invoices, and assist external sales reps. This is your opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where accuracy and efficiency are key to success.
Requirements:
- Matric
- 2 - 3 years’ experience in a sales administration role
- Working skills on MS Office including Word and Excel
- Previous experience working with Sage Pastel– Advantageous
- Previous experience working in the retail industry– Advantageous
- Must be fluent in English (excellent verbal and written communication skills)
- Valid driver’s license and own transport
- Working hours: Monday – Friday (07:30 – 16:30)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales executive/s in achieving and superseding their sales target by providing administrative support
- Have excellent customer service skills in order to assist the sales executive’s clients in person
- Document and follow through on all processes and procedures relating to the sales process
- Take sales calls and enquiries on behalf of the sales executive/s
- Assist sales executive’s clients in the showroom
- Assist walk-in clients in the showroom as a back up to customer service
- Quoting, check stock and prices
- Handling e-mail correspondence
- Follow up telephonically after sending quotations and sales orders
- Following up on payments and signed documentation on confirmation of sale
- Ensuring that all relevant information is added to the order on acceptance
- Arranging and confirming delivery
- POD control and signing thereof by customers.
- Liaise with storeman and make sure pickingslip and invoices are being packed and picked for correct delivery and collection days
