Premium Funeral Planning (PFP) is preparing for its official market launch and is building its founding sales team.

PFP offers a practical approach to funeral planning, designed to help families manage some of the financial and practical pressures that can arise after the loss of a loved one. Its offering includes benefits such as grocery vouchers, cash benefits and professional catering coordination.

About the Role

PFP is seeking motivated and people-oriented Sales Agents to join its founding sales team.

This is a commission-based field sales opportunity for individuals who are confident communicating with members of the public and are motivated by performance-driven earning potential.

The successful candidates will introduce PFP’s services to prospective clients, generate leads, engage with households and assist interested clients through the onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct grassroots field campaigns and community activations.
• Engage directly with prospective clients and introduce PFP’s services.
• Generate and develop new leads.
• Explain the company’s offering clearly and professionally.
• Have meaningful conversations with households about planning ahead.
• Follow up with prospective clients.
• Assist clients with onboarding documentation and consent forms.
• Ensure client information and paperwork are completed accurately.
• Handle personal information responsibly and maintain confidentiality.
• Comply with POPIA and applicable data-protection requirements.
• Participate in daily team alignments, strategy sessions and growth meetings.
• Provide feedback on customer responses and market opportunities.
• Work consistently towards daily and weekly sales targets.

Performance Expectations

Sales Agents will be measured on:

• Daily and weekly outreach activity.
• Client engagement and lead generation.
• Conversion of prospects into completed applications.
• Accuracy and completeness of onboarding documentation.
• Punctuality, consistency and participation in team activities.
• Overall sales performance.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and active-listening skills.
• Ability to communicate sensitively and respectfully.
• Self-motivated and target-driven.
• Resilient and adaptable.
• Comfortable with field-based sales and direct customer engagement.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Professional conduct and reliable attendance.

Previous experience in sales, field sales, direct sales, insurance, financial services, funeral services or community outreach will be advantageous.

Compensation

Commission-based.

This position does not offer a fixed monthly salary. Earnings are based on successful sales and performance.
