Sales and Marketing Consultant (Corporate)

About the Role

AfricaLearn is seeking to appoint 2x Marketing & Sales Professionals within our Business Development unit in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for driving corporate sales, expanding our client portfolio, and promoting our training and educational solutions to corporate clients.

We are looking for target-driven candidates who possess a deep understanding of South Africa's private education and skills development landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and develop new corporate business opportunities.
• Build and nurture long-term corporate relationships.
• Conduct client visits, structured sales calls, and high-level presentations.
• Source bursaries, learnerships, internships, and funded training projects.
• Prepare and submit formal tenders, proposals, and corporate bids.
• Represent the organization at corporate exhibitions, industry expos, and networking events.
• Consistently meet and exceed quarterly sales targets.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and deliver detailed monthly sales activity reports.

Requirements

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven sales and marketing experience.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of skills development, training, SETAs, and B-BBEE regulations.
• Industry Understanding: Prior experience or strong familiarity with the private education/training sector.
• Core Skills: Excellent corporate presentation, networking, negotiation, and target-driven sales skills.

• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
