Beekay Direct Marketing is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant to join our team in Johannesburg.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with people, providing exceptional customer service, and working in a fast-paced team environment. No extensive experience is required—just a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong desire to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers in a friendly, professional, and helpful manner.
• Assist customers in selecting products that suit their needs and preferences.
• Provide accurate information about products, prices, promotions, and store policies.
• Support in-store promotions, displays, and merchandising activities.
• Handle basic customer queries and concerns professionally, escalating more complex matters when necessary.
• Work closely with colleagues to achieve sales and customer-service targets.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
• Follow all company procedures relating to health, safety, security, and loss prevention.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong customer-service skills and a professional appearance.
• Basic numeracy and good attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexible and willing to work additional hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
