Sales Assistant

Mamba Magnate Marketing is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to support

daily sales activities and help deliver a positive customer experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career in Sales who enjoys working with people, learning new skills, and contributing to business growth.

The Sales Assistant will play an important role in supporting the sales team, assisting customers, maintaining product knowledge, and helping ensure smooth day-to-day sales operations.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products or services
• Support the sales team in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
• Build positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
• Handle customer questions and provide accurate product or service information
• Assist with processing sales transactions and maintaining sales records
• Help prepare sales presentations, promotional materials, and product displays
• Follow up on customer enquiries and leads where required
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or product issues to the relevant team members
• Keep the sales area clean, organised, and presentable
• Stay informed about current promotions, product updates, and company offerings
• Work closely with team members to support sales campaigns and business objectives

Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
• Strong interest in sales, customer service, and business development
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident, professional, and approachable manner
• Willingness to learn and develop sales skills
• Basic numeracy and administrative ability
• Able to work well independently and as part of a team
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Presentable and customer-oriented
• Willing to travel and relocate
• Residing in or near Secunda, or able to commute reliably
