About the Role

The North Face is looking for an energetic, customer-focused and results-driven Sales Associate to join our retail team.

As a Sales Associate, you will play an important role in delivering an excellent in-store experience, building strong customer relationships and helping customers find the right products for their lifestyle, outdoor activities and adventures.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming in-store experience.

- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products.

- Develop strong knowledge of The North Face products, technologies, footwear, apparel and equipment.

- Achieve individual and store sales targets and contribute towards key retail performance indicators.

- Promote additional and complementary products to improve the customer's overall shopping experience.

- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, housekeeping and product presentation.

- Ensure merchandise is correctly replenished, sized and displayed on the sales floor.

- Assist with stockroom duties, stock movement, deliveries and general stock management when required.

- Accurately process sales, returns and exchanges through the point-of-sale system.

- Support stock-loss prevention and remain vigilant regarding store security procedures.

- Participate in stock counts and other operational requirements.

- Build customer loyalty and encourage repeat business.

- Work closely with management and fellow team members to achieve store objectives.

- Maintain a strong understanding of current promotions, campaigns and new product launches.

- Represent The North Face brand professionally at all times.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

- Have previous retail or customer-service experience; experience in premium, fashion, sports or outdoor retail will be advantageous.

- Have a genuine passion for customer service and sales.

- Be confident, approachable and comfortable communicating with different types of customers.

- Be target-driven and motivated by achieving results.

- Be willing to learn and continuously develop product knowledge.

- Have strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

- Be reliable, punctual and professional.

- Be comfortable working in a busy retail environment.

- Have strong attention to detail and take pride in maintaining excellent store standards.

- Be willing to assist across different areas of the store when required.

- Be available to work retail hours, including weekends, public holidays and peak trading periods.
