Sales Consultant

A leading video and photographic equipment retailer in Sandton is looking to employ a Professional Counter Sales Representative.

Salary + Commission + Incentives

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of retail sales experience.

Video production and photographic experience will be an advantage but is not required.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Working in a fast-paced sales environment with the emphasis on selling and revenue maximization.

Using strong communication skills to help customers find the right Camera and gear to fit their needs.

Utilize the internet to research the industry for potential growth opportunities and to maintain knowledge of the market.

Must be able to calculate and process payments accurately.

Develop or process excellent product knowledge to inform and increase sales.

Following up on orders to prevent delays.

Updating the product inventory.

Cleaning the store and display areas during quiet times to ensure an optimized sales environment.

Utilize verbal communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with peers and senior management.

Ensuring that each customer leaves the store satisfied.

Demonstrating specific product functions and uses.

Building strong customer relations with existing clients.

Coordinating delivery of products or services.

Understanding pricing strategies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From R7 500,00 per month
