Sales Consultant – IT Solutions
Role: Junior External Sales Consultant – IT Solutions
Location: Century City, Cape Town
Experience: 1–3 years B2B sales experience
Key requirement: Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence essential.
What the role involves:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Cold calling and proactive prospecting.
- Research decision-makers and target businesses.
- Arrange and attend client meetings.
- Build and maintain strong B2B relationships.
- Recommend suitable IT solutions to clients.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close.
- Follow up on leads and convert opportunities.
- Grow existing accounts and identify upselling opportunities.
- Prepare quotes, proposals and contracts.
- Keep up to date with technology trends.
- Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
What we are looking for:
- 1–3 years’ B2B sales experience.
- Proven cold-calling and new-business development ability.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Target-driven hunter mentality.
- Confident and proactive personality.
- Willingness to learn IT products and solutions.
- Matric.
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle – essential.
- IT/technology sales experience would be advantageous, particularly exposure to hardware, software, fibre, VoIP, managed services, cloud, networking or infrastructure.
Pay: R4 811,09 - R30 000,00 per month
