Role Purpose
As a Sales Consultant (28 hours) at Leroy Merlin, you’ll be the face of our store, helping customers discover products and solutions that t their needs while creating a positive and welcoming shopping experience. You will be instrumental in driving sales, delivering outstanding customer service, and enhancing customer loyalty.
Key Responsibilities

- Support the overall performance and success of the store
Qualification and Experience
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification
- Be the in-store representative of Leroy Merlin, engaging directly with customers
- Assist customers in identifying suitable products and solutions based on their needs
- Deliver a welcoming, positive, and helpful shopping experience at all times
- Drive in-store sales through strong product knowledge and effective customer interaction
- Provide consistently excellent customer service
- Build and maintain strong, long term customer relationships
- Contribute to customer satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business
- Support overall store performance and achievement of sales targets
- Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required
- Operate POS systems and basic computer applications efficiently
- Maintain physical capability to stand, walk for extended periods, and lift/move stock when necessary
