REA South Africa is looking for an energetic and driven Sales Consultant to join our Cape Town team. If you have experience in technical sales, automation, industrial equipment, coding and marking, packaging, instrumentation, or related industries, we'd love to hear from you.

This is an exciting opportunity to represent industry-leading industrial coding, marking, labelling, and automation solutions while working with manufacturers across a wide range of industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to grow your sales territory.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Build, maintain, and grow relationships with new and existing customers.
• Conduct regular customer visits and provide professional product demonstrations.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on sales opportunities.
• Submit daily call reports, weekly activity plans, and monthly territory reports.
• Resolve customer queries and work closely with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service.
• Promote the company's products and identify opportunities for cross-selling.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and an active sales pipeline.
• Assist with stock management and product demonstrations where required.

Minimum Requirements

• 1–5 years' experience in a technical sales role.
• Strong technical aptitude is essential.
• Experience in automation, sensors, industrial equipment, coding & marking, packaging, instrumentation, or related industries will be highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English (Afrikaans will be advantageous).
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Valid South African driver's licence.
• Reliable vehicle (less than 10 years old).
• Willingness to travel throughout the Western Cape and occasionally elsewhere in South Africa.

• Market-related basic salary (depending on experience)
• Uncapped commission
• Car allowance of R5,500 per month
