Job description
ENCONA is expanding, and we are seeking a Sales Coordinator. This individual will be responsible for the processing and conversion of all incoming leads and the generation of new business opportunities with existing customers, through the use of all methods available such as; outbound phone calls, emails etc. in order to achieve regional sales targets.
The second element relates to business development through generation of new leads and the facilitation of new business opportunities.
We seek a dedicated and skilled professional eager to contribute to our ongoing success and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients to effectively close incoming leads via quotes, answering queries, and strategic follow-ups.
- Generate new leads and opportunities through targeted outbound calls, networking platforms, and outbound email marketing campaigns.
- Prospect potential new accounts within targeted industries
- Maintain an updated and clean customer database
- Ensure strict adherence to approved corporate sales processes and customer relationship management guidelines
- Administer clear handover to Operations
Experience
- Min 3 years of internal sales experience specifically within an automotive manufacturing environment
Knowledge & Technical Skills
- General working knowledge of the automotive industry and automotive customer-specific requirements
- Familiarity with industry standards preferred (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and VDA 6.3)
- Exposure to Automotive Core Tools and problem-solving frameworks
Abilities & Soft Skills
- Proven ability to close sales and overcome competitive challenges.
- Tenacity, exceptional interpersonal skills, and client-centric orientation.
- Active listening and effective questioning techniques.
- Excellent self-organising, planning, and teamwork skills.
