Are you an experienced Costing, Estimating or Quotations professional with a strong background in industrial, engineering or project-based environments?
We are seeking a detail-driven and analytical Sales Costing Administrator to join a leading industrial company in Benoni. This is not a standard quotations role — we are looking for someone who can interpret complex project requirements, identify all cost elements and compile accurate, commercially sound quotations and tender submissions.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed costings and quotations for complex industrial and project-based work.
- Analyse project scopes and identify all cost components, including:
- Equipment and materials
- Labour and installation
- Travel and accommodation
- Transport and logistics
- Subcontractors
- Other project-related costs
- Work closely with Sales, Technical and Procurement teams to gather costing information.
- Identify missing information, cost risks and commercial considerations before quotations are finalised.
- Prepare professional customer quotations, ensuring margins, exclusions and commercial terms are correctly reflected.
- Review, compile and submit tender documents accurately and within deadlines.
- Manage multiple quotations and tenders simultaneously.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in costing, estimating, quotations or project administration.
- Essential: Previous experience with industrial, engineering or complex project costing.
- Experience working with projects involving multiple cost elements and variables.
- Tender preparation and submission experience will be advantageous.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, preferably advanced level.
- Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
The Ideal Candidate
You understand how projects are delivered and can translate a scope of work into a complete and accurate costing model. You are commercially aware, highly organised and confident working with complex costing spreadsheets and tender documentation.
