Sales & Customer Outreach Assistant

Location: Longmeadown, Modderfontein, Johannesburg (Office Based)

Mercury Wholesalers is looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our team in a Sales & Customer Outreach role.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking to people, is confident on the phone, and is eager to contribute to a growing business.

Responsibilities:

• Contact existing customers from our database by phone and email.
• Research and identify potential new customers.
• Send product catalogues and marketing material to prospective customers.
• Follow up consistently with leads and existing customers.
• Build relationships with customers and identify sales opportunities.
• Keep accurate records of customer interactions and follow-up activities.

Requirements:

• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Afrikaans speaking is advantageous.
• Confident and professional telephone manner.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using email, Microsoft Office, and basic computer systems.
• Well organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Previous sales, telesales, customer service or administrative experience is beneficial but not essential.

Position Details:

• Position: Full Time
• Location: Office based in Longmeadow, Modderfontein.
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Salary: To be discussed: Salary + Performance Based Remuneration
