About The Company Our client develops cutting-edge voice automation, AI agents, and large language model solutions purpose-built for the healthcare ecosystem.

Their platform automates inbound and outbound workflows across pharmacy operations, scheduling, insurance verification, billing, and patient engagement through deep integrations with major Pharmacy Management Systems and leading EHR platforms such as Epic and athenahealth.

Operating within HIPAA, SOC 2, and HITECH compliant environments, they partner with pharmacies, health systems, and pharmaceutical organizations across the United States.

Position Overview

The Sales Development Representative is the front line of our client's commercial growth.

You will own the top of the sales funnel by identifying prospective customers, executing outbound prospecting campaigns, qualifying opportunities, and booking high-quality meetings for the Account Executive team.

This is a highly active outbound role suited to someone who enjoys prospecting, thrives in a metrics-driven environment, and understands that consistency, resilience, and disciplined follow-up create results.

You'll receive coaching, proven sales processes, and modern sales technology while building a clear pathway toward future Account Executive or broader commercial opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

I. Pipeline Generation

  • Generate qualified sales opportunities through outbound prospecting across phone, email, LinkedIn, and other approved outreach channels.
  • Build pipeline across pharmacies, health systems, and pharmaceutical organizations throughout the United States.
  • Consistently execute structured outbound sales cadences.
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly activity expectations.

II. Lead Qualification

  • Qualify inbound and outbound prospects against established criteria.
  • Identify decision-makers and buying committees.
  • Book qualified discovery meetings for Account Executives.
  • Ensure smooth handoffs of qualified opportunities.

III. Prospect Research

  • Research target accounts and contacts to personalise outreach where appropriate.
  • Understand prospect pain points and align messaging accordingly.
  • Continuously refine outreach messaging through testing and coaching.

IV. CRM & Sales Operations

  • Maintain exceptional CRM hygiene.
  • Accurately log activities, contacts, and pipeline updates.
  • Maintain organised prospect records and follow-up schedules.
  • Ensure no qualified opportunity goes unmanaged.

V. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Account Executives to improve conversion rates.
  • Share market feedback with Sales and Product teams.
  • Contribute to improving outreach messaging and sales processes.
  • Support the continued development of scalable outbound playbooks.

Hard Skills

  • 0-2+ years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, Lead Generation, or customer-facing sales roles (strong internships or graduate sales experience will also be considered).
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with a confident, professional phone presence.
  • Comfortable making outbound cold calls and engaging new prospects.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent follow-up discipline.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Exposure to modern sales engagement tools such as Apollo, ZoomInfo, Clay, Outreach, Salesloft, Instantly, Aircall, HeyReach, or similar platforms.
  • Comfortable working within US business hours.
  • Proficiency with AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar is highly advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous SDR or BDR experience within B2B SaaS.
  • Experience selling into healthcare, pharmacy, health systems, or pharmaceutical organizations.
  • Experience working within an early-stage or high-growth technology company.
  • Spanish language skills are advantageous but not required.

Soft Skills

Hunter Mentality

You enjoy creating opportunities through proactive outreach rather than waiting for inbound enquiries.

Coachability

You actively seek feedback and continuously improve your approach.

Resilience

You remain positive, persistent, and motivated despite rejection.

Organisation

You manage multiple conversations and follow-ups without opportunities slipping through the cracks.

Self-Starter

You take ownership of your activity levels and consistently deliver results in a remote environment.

Team Player

You collaborate closely with Account Executives and contribute to the success of the wider commercial team.

About You You're motivated by building relationships and creating opportunities.

You understand that the SDR's role is to generate qualified meetings—not close deals—and you enjoy the challenge of introducing innovative technology to new customers.

You're naturally curious, highly organised, and excited to work within a fast-growing AI company where strong performance is recognised and rewarded.

Why This Role Matters

This position plays a critical role in building our client's sales pipeline and accelerating company growth.

Every qualified meeting you create directly contributes to revenue generation while helping healthcare organisations modernise how they operate through AI-driven automation.

You'll join a company with enterprise-grade technology, an experienced leadership team, and a clear vision for scaling its commercial organisation.
