Sales Development Representative (Cold Calling) – TNW Energy

TNW Energy is looking for a motivated and driven Sales Development Representative to join our growing team.

This is a remote cold-calling role focused on generating new business opportunities by contacting prospective customers and booking site survey appointments for clients in the solar energy sector.

The successful candidate will be confident communicating by phone, comfortable with outbound calling and motivated by measurable performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound cold calls to prospective customers
• Qualify prospects and book site survey appointments
• Manage and maintain an organised prospect pipeline
• Communicate professionally with prospects and clients
• Handle leads and appointment setting
• Work towards agreed KPIs and performance targets
• Follow established scripts and sales processes
• Maintain accurate records of calls, leads and appointments
• Participate in training and development sessions
• Work collaboratively with the management team

Requirements

• Strong verbal communication skills
• Confident and professional telephone manner
• Comfortable making outbound cold calls
• Able to build rapport with prospective customers
• Target-focused and motivated by measurable results
• Strong organisation and time-management skills
• Able to handle rejection professionally
• Reliable and self-motivated when working remotely
• Willingness to learn and develop sales skills
• Previous experience in sales, telesales, cold calling or appointment setting is advantageous but not essential

Compensation

This role includes the following compensation structure:

• R162 per hour of call time
• R323 per pitch
• Realistic earnings of R19,400 + per month, depending on hours, activity and performance
• Additional bonus opportunities may be available

Training & Resources

Successful candidates will receive access to relevant training materials, including:

• Sales scripts and acquisition resources
• Previous trial-day training material
• Close CRM training
