Job description
Job Title: Sales Development Representative (Telesales)
Purpose:
This role is focused entirely on client acquisition . The objective is to generate qualified meetings for our senior sales team by engaging target decision-makers through outbound cold calls. Success depends on strong cold calling ability, concise value pitching, and a working understanding of IT recruitment, particularly within the SAP ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outbound Cold Calling: Make a high volume of outbound cold calls each day to engage IT Directors, SAP Programme Leads, and HR/Procurement stakeholders across the EU and parts of the US.
- Lead Qualification: Identify genuine business opportunities by qualifying prospects for current or upcoming SAP hiring needs, open vacancies, or project resource gaps.
- Meeting Scheduling: Secure meetings for the senior strategic sales team with decision-makers in target organisations.
- Use of Marketing Data: Contact engaged leads from our digital campaigns (approx. 40+ engaged contacts weekly from 1,400+ generated), focusing efforts on high-probability targets.
- CRM & Data Utilisation: Work efficiently with provided outreach and intent data lists to maximise conversion from engagement to meetings.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
- Proven Outbound Sales Experience: Must have a verifiable track record in outbound cold calling, ideally in a high-dial environment (e.g. 60+ dials/day).
- IT Recruitment Background: A working knowledge of IT recruitment services, particularly within ERP/SAP, is essential. The candidate must be able to understand and communicate the value of our service offering in this space.
- Not Suitable: Candidates from solely inbound, general recruitment, or unrelated sales backgrounds will not be considered.
KPIs:
- Number of qualified client meetings booked per week
- Daily call volume and talk time
- Conversion rate from engaged contact to booked meeting
- Number of BD pitches delivered
