Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and articulate Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join a growing UK-based business.

This is a proactive outbound sales role focused on identifying and engaging potential customers, speaking directly with decision-makers, and generating qualified opportunities for the sales team.

You will be provided with targeted prospect and contact lists and will be responsible for turning these prospects into meaningful sales conversations and booked demonstrations.

As the company continues to grow, they are looking to strengthen their sales team with a Sales Development Representative who can proactively engage potential customers, build relationships with decision-makers and generate qualified opportunities for the wider sales team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious B2B sales professional who enjoys outbound prospecting, cold calling and having genuine commercial conversations with potential clients .

Key Responsibilities

• Make 60–80 outbound calls per day to prospective customers.
• Work from provided target and prospect lists to identify and contact relevant decision-makers.
• Engage prospects confidently over the phone and clearly communicate the value of the company's offering.
• Ask thoughtful questions to understand the prospect's business, challenges and requirements.
• Qualify potential opportunities and identify genuine buying interest.
• Book qualified product demonstrations for the sales team.
• Follow up with prospects consistently through outbound calls and other appropriate channels.
• Maintain accurate records of conversations, activity and opportunities within the CRM.
• Work towards a target of approximately 10 qualified demos booked per week .
• Consistently manage a high-volume outbound activity pipeline while maintaining a professional and consultative approach.
• Collaborate with the wider sales team to ensure qualified opportunities are handed over effectively.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is confident, commercially minded and genuinely enjoys speaking to people.

Essential experience:

• 3+ years outbound sales experience .
• Proven experience making cold calls and outbound sales calls .
• Comfortable speaking with senior decision-makers and business owners.
• Experience working towards measurable sales or activity targets.
• Confident using a CRM and maintaining accurate sales records.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, target-driven environment.
