Sales / Field Marketing Consultant

Leisure Box is hiring Sales / Field Marketing Consultants!

We are looking for confident, energetic and target-driven individuals to join our growing sales team in Durban.

This is a field-based sales position. Successful candidates will represent Leisure Box at approved marketing locations, businesses, campuses, events and promotional activations.

Your main responsibility will be to approach potential customers, introduce Leisure Box, explain our holiday membership packages and convert interested customers into new members.

Responsibilities

• Approach and engage potential customers face-to-face.
• Introduce and professionally represent Leisure Box.
• Explain our holiday membership packages and services.
• Conduct sales presentations with potential customers.
• Generate new leads and follow up with interested customers.
• Assist customers through the membership application process.
• Work towards daily and weekly sales targets.
• Attend field marketing campaigns and promotional activations.
• Submit accurate daily sales and activity reports.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the company.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should:

• Be confident speaking to new people.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be energetic, motivated and sales-driven.
• Be comfortable approaching members of the public.
• Be comfortable working towards sales targets.
• Be willing to work at different field marketing locations.
• Be reliable, punctual and professional.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Have access to a cellphone with WhatsApp.
• Be able to travel to field locations around Durban and surrounding areas.

Previous sales, promotions, retail, field marketing, call-centre or customer-service experience will be an advantage.

Candidates without previous sales experience may still apply if they are confident, motivated and willing to learn.
